Bioshock

So this weekend I picked up Bioshock again and I can say I have fun most of the time, unless I have been playing too long. This game is good, and there is many many different ways to play, you can be like a super smart hacker guy man (like me) that not depends but uses turrets and cameras and flying turret things to their advantage. Or you can be like a magic guy man that uses mostly uses attack plasmids to burn, freeze, shock, shoot bees at, throw things at, I could go on. Or you can do the most popular thing to do which is use mostly guns, which is also mostly what a hacker will do too. I mostly rely on my wrench to pwn $krubz while using my turrets.
So this game is good in a sense of story telling, which I usually don't come by in Shooters these days. Usually I get this military game that has no challenge and crappy AIs, it's a shame because I like First Person Shooters, but now a day there isn't any good ones. But in this game you get a good and dark story and good gameplay, and when played on the hardest difficulty it will mostly give the player a good challenge. The story is that you are a man whose name you don't know and you are on a plane to somewhere, Honestly i don't know if you ever find out because I haven't beaten it, but in the opening video you see our main character looking at a picture of a group of people so with educated guesses I would like to say that I think is his family and him, but anyway that plane crashes in the middle of the Atlantic ocean with fire all around you, you realize your only chance to survive is to swim to a nearby tower, once inside you hop into a submarine pod and it brings you to the underwater city of Rapture where you find that civilization has fallen and you are stuck in the middle of this. That's all I'm going to say. This story was based off of the book Atlas Shrugged published in 1957 and written by Ayn Rand and its decently similar in the sense of humanity failing and a world falling.
So all in all T think this game is mostly flawless besides the fact if you see missing multiplayer as a problem and i've heard the ending is extremely lacking compaired to the rest of the games story, this game does a great job in the fear factor, but not like other horror games do. This game is dark, but the darkness isn't spooky, sometimes you might see people being hung, children even, and then see another family that died in the arms of each other, while this isn't too spooky without a thought, with said thought, you wonder what the hell happened to these people and why, that my friends is far more spooky then a zombie jump out by far. Also it just generally has a dark creepy atmosphere like the first boss, hes a surgeon and likes to make humans look how he compares himself to picasso in the sense that picasso got bored of painting humans so he made them abstract, so that's what hes doing to his patients.
So anyway I love this game and if i were to rate it i would want to give it a 9/10 and if you don't have this game............ what the hell are you doing reading this, GO OUT AND BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
