Anivia: the Cryophoenix

Anivia
Laying an Egg isn't as Easy as it looks.

So today i'm going to talk about Anivia, the Cryophoenix. Anivia is a mid laner with lots of cc. Lately Anivia hasn't really been really played mid lately just because she's too squishy against the assassin/high range game that mid is right now, sadly Anivia fits neither of these two. But she's still tons of fun and also, shes a bird.

Anivia's passive is called rebirth, where Anivia turns into her egg form, where she is vulnerable. If Anivia survives in her egg form for 6 seconds, she is reborn with how much health she had with her egg form.
Team Spirit Anivia
Anivia's Q is called Flash Frost, where Anivia throws an ice sphere at the enemy, it deals damage to anything it goes throw and will stun someone if it explodes on them, it will stun them for a second.
Bird of Prey Anivia
Anivia's W is called Crystallize, where Anivia puts up a wall of ice, blocking off her allies, as well as enemys.
Noxus Hunter Anivia
Anivia's E is called is called Frostbite, where anivia throws an icile that deals double daage, if they are slowed by her q or ult.
Hextech Anivia

Anivia's Ult is called Glacial Storm, where Anivia puts down a small circle ice storm, slowing anyone standing in it and dealing damage for second.

Black Frost Anivia

When I build Anivia I go for a glass cannon build, building nothing but mana and AP, After boots, build rod of ages, seraph's embrace, liandry's torment, items like that.

Anivia's Lore says that she is the Embodiment of Ice Magic, shes an ancient protector of the Freljord, she calls the winds, storms, and ice to defend her home. Anivia is bounded to her land, keeping it safe for the rest of time, because she's a phoenix. Long before mortals settled, Anivia was there protecting the lands. Living and dying many, many times. At the beginning and the end her life cycles, something always changed, such as great storms calming, or the start of a new ice age. When the Cryophoenix dies, an era ends, when she is reborn the next era begins. Anivia doesn't really remember her past lives clearly, but she does know she has to protect the Freljord at all cost. Last time Anivia was reborn, she saw the rise of a great human tribe, she with the tribe, protected the land, until the giant human tribe fractured into 3 tribes, Avarosan (loyal to Queen Ashe), Winter's Claw (loyal to Sejuani), and Frostguard (Loyal to Queen Lissandra). Anivia saw the 3 tribes fighting each other over the rule of the Freljord. While Anivia tried to stop the fighting, she felt a deep evil rise in, or with he ice, she could no longer merely be a guardian, she had to stop it herself. Anivia joined up with Ashe or the Avarosan people altogether to stop the 2 other tribes.

Anivia chooses to join the Avarosan over the other tribes, because they are the tribe of peace, rather than war, like Sejuani's Winter's Claw.
She also doesn't join the Frostgaurd because it's led by Lissandra, who is the evil she feels in her lore.

Next Weeks post plans to be over these tribes and the act of battles itself, just because it's a fun subject and it takes awhile to explain all of it.

Amumu: The Sad Mummy

Classic Amumu
Today I want to talk about Amumu, The Sad Mummy. Amumu is one of my (and everyones) favorite junglers, being that I main jungle I play Amumu, not generally competitively, but in normals. Amumu is a tanky AP jungler who jumps in and stops anyone from getting away. I build Amumu all Tank with no actual damage most of the time.

Amumu's general play style is jumping in and cc-ing the enemy to help your allies get kills, and you compliments. generally you jump in and use all your skills, he's pretty simple. Amumu is also very good at fighting people alone, because no matter how much damage they have you have enough health, armor and magic resist to take just about anything.
Pharaoh Amumu

Amumu's Passive is called Cursed Touch, in which Amumu's attacks reduce the targets Magic resist up to 25 at level 18 per auto attack for 3 seconds.
Vancouver Amumu
Amumu's Q is called Bandage Toss, where Amumu throws his wrappings and jumps to an enemy dealing a bit of damage, and stunning the target for 1 second.
Emumu
Amumu's W is called Despair, where Amumu starts crying and dealing damage over time all around him. It deals percentage damage to the enemies around him.

Re-gifted Amumu
Amumu's E is called Tantrum, where amumu gets angry. The passive ability for this skill gives him a small amount of damage reduction, and when you activate it Amumu spins and cuts around him dealing a good amount of damage.
Almost-Prom King Amumu
\
Amumu's Ult is called Curse of the Sad Mummy, where Amumu ties up every surrounding enemy, stunning them for 2 seconds, Amumu can hit every enemy on the enemy team with his ult.
Little Knight Amumu
When I build Amumu I generally do my all tank build, building no ap on him whatsoever so that it ensures im only there to help, not to ks. I build Amumu the same way I build all my jungle tanks, Boots of Mobility alacrity, Spirit of the Ancient Golem, Randuin's Omen, Spirit Visage, Warmogs, and then a Guardian Angel, most the time i get a sunfire cape early on instead of another item.

Sad Robot Amumu
Amumu's lore says that he's a dead yordle who can't remember his past (so we don't know either). All he knows is that he woke up alone in a pyramid in Shurima Desert and he was in mummy's wrappings, he also couldn't feel his heart. The only other thing is that he feels this deep sadness, and he's not entirely sure why, he knew he missed his parents, even though he didn't know who they were. No matter what Amumu did all he could do was cry into his bandages, Amumu decided to search the world to discover his past. He traveled all over southern Valoran, something not easily done. Amumu still hasn't learned much about his past, but he has learned what he's become, though he knows he's undead, he doesn't harbor the evil characteristics generally associated with the undead. Amumu also seems to be able to keep bad things away from him, all throughout his journey nothing bad happened to him, he was just sad, and every person or creature he encountered became sad too. He decided to travel north, across the Great Barrier to the Institute of war, the home of the League, most summoners there loved his story, and they had him signed up for League, Amumu finally had what he always wanted, a home. Now Amumu hopes that his new friends will help him discover his past life.

"Thigns are bad when Amumu is crying, but they're much worse when he's angry."
