Okami-San And Her Seven Companions

Today I want to talk about Okami-San and her Seven Companions, Okami-san is about a hard hitting tomboy who doesn't trust people or deal with them, she goes through life punching things with her two cat gauntlets. Now that i'm reading it, the show sounds a lot crazier than it really is.

Okami means wolf by the way.

Okami-San is a story about a boy who is in love with the leading role Okami-San. Okami-San works with 7 other people in a club that helps people out with tasks they can't do, such as asking somebody out for them, or helping them in a contest, anything really, once you make a contract with them you owe them a favor of whatever they want later. So the leading male role that loves Okami-San joins this group after he confesses his love to be closer to her. By the way, I forgot to mention, Okami-San is the most tsundere character I've seen in a very long time, she has some awful thing that happens to her in the past meaning she doesn't really trust most people. So when the guy wants to act as her shield she doesn't necessarily trust him until much later in the show, the only person she trust completely in her best friend Red, or Red Riding Hood. Sick of all these wolf jokes yet? The show uses them quite well to explain things, such as how on the outside, Okami-san is rude and cold, but on the inside shes soft and sweet, they commonly call this a wolf in sheeps clothing. Personally I think it's quite Clever.

Altogether I thought this show was pretty interesting and fun to watch, the comedy is good, the animation is fine, there really isn't much of a memorable soundtrack besides the opening and ending, It's short but long enough to tell the story, The narrator is amazing and funny, shes honestly the best part of the show, The characters altogether are great and funny. She show overall gives this Ouran vibe that I just love.

Overall I want to give it a 7/10
It was pretty good

Oreimo (How Can My Little Sister Be This Cute)

Oreimo is a fun little anime about a boy and his sister and they're relationship with each other. warning right now, this is siscon, or brocon, so it may be sketchy for you. The story starts out with the main character mentioning that his sister completely ignores him and looks down on him because she's better at school, his family also cares more about her. They're mother is the average anime mom, and they're father is a completely old fashioned man and completely anti-otaku (an otaku is someone who loves anime and purchases merchandise for it.)

One day the main character comes home from school greeting his sister, getting no response. He gets a drink from the fridge leaving the juice on the counter, after heading up to his brother he realizes he left the juice out. On his way back in he runs into his little sister and both of them fall over. She immediately blames him because she dropped her purse and once she picked it all up, she stormed out. After she left he realized she left something on the floor. He looked at it and it was a magical girl anime for mostly young children. He took it upstairs trying to figure out who it belonged to (mostly knowing it was his sisters) when he looked inside he found a hidden eroge DVD (18+) after she knew he had it she confessed that she was secretly an otaku, and asked him for life counselling advice.

So far, I've only watched a couple episodes of it, and it's funny, cleaver and brings up a lot of issues in modern day Japan, such as women being stuck up and not being tolerant of men for things like anime or dating sims, things like all of Kirino's friends being just like this towards the open otakus in the class even though she secretly loves anime.

So far i'm loving this show, at this point I would like to give this show about a 8/10
remember I've only watched a bit so I don't really have a fully complete opinion on it just yet.

Attack on Titan?

Is it okay for me to rant about Attack on Titan for just a moment? Attack on Titan is one of those wacky animes that brings up tons of laughs and smiles. When I say laugh and smiles I mean a character dies every episode by giant "Titans" as they're called.

Attack on Titan is a story about 3 friends, Eren Jeager (Main character), Mikasa Ackerman (best girl ever) and Armin Arlert. The story starts by saying that 100 years ago humanoid beings known as Titans started appearing and wiping out the human race, in defense of that humans built 3 walls that are 50m tall so that no titans would ever get in and completely wipe out humanity.

In the year 845 (the year in episode 1), The 3 main characters are still but children, Eren wants to join the Scout Regiment (people who go outside the walls and hunt Titans) and see the outside world, Mikasa wants him to be safe, and serve as his protector, and Armin just wants to see the outside world with his friends. People inside the wall are arrogant of the power of their wall and assume nothing will ever get through and cause awful events again. Eren thinks that these people are blind and that you should always be ready for attacks. Suddenly the Colossal Titan (60m) appears andquite litterally kicks in the door and lets a huge amount of titans in to slaughter the town. Including Eren's mother. This made him swear that he will kill every last titan in existance.

Overall I'm really enjoying this show, I haven't read the manga yet and I haven't competely finished the show. But so far I absolutely adore the animation, it's beautiful. The story is captivating and original. The Action and Blood is second to none. The universe is very interesting to say the least, some of the mechanisms and machinery are totally cool. I would say that I give this show a 9/10.

Fun Facts about Titans (that I know from how far I am)
They don't have reproducive cycles, and its unknown how they form.
They have no digestive system and they just puke up what they have eaten when they eat too much.
They don't seem to have any energy if its dark, or no sunlight.
They regenerate all damage taken to them besides a slash at the nape of the neck, which is the only way to kill them.

Anivia: the Cryophoenix

Anivia
Laying an Egg isn't as Easy as it looks.

So today i'm going to talk about Anivia, the Cryophoenix. Anivia is a mid laner with lots of cc. Lately Anivia hasn't really been really played mid lately just because she's too squishy against the assassin/high range game that mid is right now, sadly Anivia fits neither of these two. But she's still tons of fun and also, shes a bird.

Anivia's passive is called rebirth, where Anivia turns into her egg form, where she is vulnerable. If Anivia survives in her egg form for 6 seconds, she is reborn with how much health she had with her egg form.
Team Spirit Anivia
Anivia's Q is called Flash Frost, where Anivia throws an ice sphere at the enemy, it deals damage to anything it goes throw and will stun someone if it explodes on them, it will stun them for a second.
Bird of Prey Anivia
Anivia's W is called Crystallize, where Anivia puts up a wall of ice, blocking off her allies, as well as enemys.
Noxus Hunter Anivia
Anivia's E is called is called Frostbite, where anivia throws an icile that deals double daage, if they are slowed by her q or ult.
Hextech Anivia

Anivia's Ult is called Glacial Storm, where Anivia puts down a small circle ice storm, slowing anyone standing in it and dealing damage for second.

Black Frost Anivia

When I build Anivia I go for a glass cannon build, building nothing but mana and AP, After boots, build rod of ages, seraph's embrace, liandry's torment, items like that.

Anivia's Lore says that she is the Embodiment of Ice Magic, shes an ancient protector of the Freljord, she calls the winds, storms, and ice to defend her home. Anivia is bounded to her land, keeping it safe for the rest of time, because she's a phoenix. Long before mortals settled, Anivia was there protecting the lands. Living and dying many, many times. At the beginning and the end her life cycles, something always changed, such as great storms calming, or the start of a new ice age. When the Cryophoenix dies, an era ends, when she is reborn the next era begins. Anivia doesn't really remember her past lives clearly, but she does know she has to protect the Freljord at all cost. Last time Anivia was reborn, she saw the rise of a great human tribe, she with the tribe, protected the land, until the giant human tribe fractured into 3 tribes, Avarosan (loyal to Queen Ashe), Winter's Claw (loyal to Sejuani), and Frostguard (Loyal to Queen Lissandra). Anivia saw the 3 tribes fighting each other over the rule of the Freljord. While Anivia tried to stop the fighting, she felt a deep evil rise in, or with he ice, she could no longer merely be a guardian, she had to stop it herself. Anivia joined up with Ashe or the Avarosan people altogether to stop the 2 other tribes.

Anivia chooses to join the Avarosan over the other tribes, because they are the tribe of peace, rather than war, like Sejuani's Winter's Claw.
She also doesn't join the Frostgaurd because it's led by Lissandra, who is the evil she feels in her lore.

Next Weeks post plans to be over these tribes and the act of battles itself, just because it's a fun subject and it takes awhile to explain all of it.

Amumu: The Sad Mummy

Classic Amumu
Today I want to talk about Amumu, The Sad Mummy. Amumu is one of my (and everyones) favorite junglers, being that I main jungle I play Amumu, not generally competitively, but in normals. Amumu is a tanky AP jungler who jumps in and stops anyone from getting away. I build Amumu all Tank with no actual damage most of the time.

Amumu's general play style is jumping in and cc-ing the enemy to help your allies get kills, and you compliments. generally you jump in and use all your skills, he's pretty simple. Amumu is also very good at fighting people alone, because no matter how much damage they have you have enough health, armor and magic resist to take just about anything.
Pharaoh Amumu

Amumu's Passive is called Cursed Touch, in which Amumu's attacks reduce the targets Magic resist up to 25 at level 18 per auto attack for 3 seconds.
Vancouver Amumu
Amumu's Q is called Bandage Toss, where Amumu throws his wrappings and jumps to an enemy dealing a bit of damage, and stunning the target for 1 second.
Emumu
Amumu's W is called Despair, where Amumu starts crying and dealing damage over time all around him. It deals percentage damage to the enemies around him.

Re-gifted Amumu
Amumu's E is called Tantrum, where amumu gets angry. The passive ability for this skill gives him a small amount of damage reduction, and when you activate it Amumu spins and cuts around him dealing a good amount of damage.
Almost-Prom King Amumu
\
Amumu's Ult is called Curse of the Sad Mummy, where Amumu ties up every surrounding enemy, stunning them for 2 seconds, Amumu can hit every enemy on the enemy team with his ult.
Little Knight Amumu
When I build Amumu I generally do my all tank build, building no ap on him whatsoever so that it ensures im only there to help, not to ks. I build Amumu the same way I build all my jungle tanks, Boots of Mobility alacrity, Spirit of the Ancient Golem, Randuin's Omen, Spirit Visage, Warmogs, and then a Guardian Angel, most the time i get a sunfire cape early on instead of another item.

Sad Robot Amumu
Amumu's lore says that he's a dead yordle who can't remember his past (so we don't know either). All he knows is that he woke up alone in a pyramid in Shurima Desert and he was in mummy's wrappings, he also couldn't feel his heart. The only other thing is that he feels this deep sadness, and he's not entirely sure why, he knew he missed his parents, even though he didn't know who they were. No matter what Amumu did all he could do was cry into his bandages, Amumu decided to search the world to discover his past. He traveled all over southern Valoran, something not easily done. Amumu still hasn't learned much about his past, but he has learned what he's become, though he knows he's undead, he doesn't harbor the evil characteristics generally associated with the undead. Amumu also seems to be able to keep bad things away from him, all throughout his journey nothing bad happened to him, he was just sad, and every person or creature he encountered became sad too. He decided to travel north, across the Great Barrier to the Institute of war, the home of the League, most summoners there loved his story, and they had him signed up for League, Amumu finally had what he always wanted, a home. Now Amumu hopes that his new friends will help him discover his past life.

"Thigns are bad when Amumu is crying, but they're much worse when he's angry."

Alistar: the Minotaur

Today I'm going to talk about Alistar: The Minotaur, and how he's changed in the past and how I want him to change in the future.
Original Alistar
Alistar is a Support with massive amount of CC with his kit, a heal, and a ult great for any tank. But is the support role good for him? After reading his lore and looking at splash art, or just generally looking at his style. Alistar seems like he should be reworked to be a top lane bruiser, and punish his foes with his CC, I'll talk about this a bit more later.

Black Alistar

Alistar's Passive is called Trample. Whenever Alistar casts a spell he has a cow and deals damage to anything around him for a second or two.

Golden Alistar
Alistar's Q is called Pulverize, Alistar smashes the ground dealing tons of damage and knocking up enemies in the air and stunning them when they hit the ground for 1.5 seconds.

Matador Alistar
Alistar's W is called Headbutt, Alistar headbutts the enemy and deals tons of damage and knocking the enemy away. When combined with his Q perfectly, Alistar can run up to the enemy then smash them up causing them to not be knocked back.

Longhorn Alistar
Alistar's E is called Triumphant Roar, where Alistar heals tons of health, also whenever an enemy minion or champion dies, the cooldown decreases.

Unchained Alistar
Alistar's Ultimate is called Unbreakable Will, in which alistar loses any cc affect on him, gains attack damage, and has reduced physical and magical damage.
Infernal Alistar
Alistar's abilitys and spells have changed a lot since the launch of this game. Originally Alistar's ult broke any CC like it does now, but then made him immune to spells, in turn he was almost invincible for 7 seconds.

Alistar's originally had a skill which had a passive and active ability, the passive just raised his damage, but the active makes you do more damage to towers, which is interesting to me becasue seeing something like that in league is almost Alien at max level he deals 60% more damage to towers, so if he was building pure damage he would pretty much destroy towers in a couple hits.

Alistar's First Splash Art
Alistar's lore says he was the mightiest warrior in his tribe of his cow/bull people, he constantly defended his tribe from ongoing dangers. He protected them from everything, until the Noxian army attacked, A Noxian general lured Alistar away from his village, and when he returned everything was set ablaze, and his family was killed. In his rage he attacked the Noxian troops killing hundreds of them, but he couldn't fight all of them, he was captured. Alistar then lived his life in Noxian prison as a source of entertainment, Noxians would set up bloodbath arenas in which Alistar always was forced to take part in. His once peaceful and protective soul has been twisted to a killing monster. Alistar would have gone insane if not for a servant girl named Ayelia, she planned his escape and he was free once again. After escaped he joined League of Legends to fight Noxians and find the girl who let him free.

Original Golden Alistar
Normally I would end the blog here, but today I want to talk about why Alistar should be changed into a top lane Bruiser rather than a wimpy support. After reading the lore, does he sound like someone who would have a healing spell? Alistar scales with AP even though all of his moves are physical based, his ult gives him AD but he scales with AP, if they reworked Alistar and kept his current ult, then changed the scaling of his Q and W from AP to AD, then replaced his heal with something else, he could be a great bruiser, I think Alistar is great, but I think this could be so much better for him, it fits his lore, and it just makes sense, Alistar deserves this.

Anyway, this is all about Alistar.

"If you intend to grab the bull by the horns as a summoner, Alistar might have something to say about that."
