Today I want to talk about Ahri, The Nine Tailed Fox, Ahri is a very strong AP assassin who is great at jumping in and out as fast as you can blink. When I build ahri I go for a glass cannon build, which means nothing but pure AP giving me tons of damage with all of my attacks.
Ahri's basic kit revolves around charming people towards her and then unleashing all of her moves to ensure a kill, And if they happen to get away, you catch up to them and repeat the process. Then getting out of battles you can't win, which doesn't seem to happen. With Ahri's passive it helps you stay in battles longer, and helps you spam your skills with reward.
Ahri's Passive is called Essence Theft. When Ahri uses 9 spells, her next spell gives her 35% spell vamp, which gives you your health back based on how much damage you do.
Ahri's Q is called Orb of Deception. Ahri Throws out an orbwhich comes back to her after it goes to max range, dealing true damage on its way back.
Ahri's W is called Fox-Fire where she summons 3 flames that circle her and shoot at the closest enemy to it. These fires target champions before minions or neutral monsters.
Ahri's E is called Charm, where she shoots a heart-shaped spell that hits any champion, minion, or monster will slow thwm down and cause them to walk towards ahri, when the charm effect are active, ahri's other skills do more damage. I usually use this move to start my massive combo.
Ahri's Ult is called Sprit Rush, Ahri dashes forward and shoots out 3 flames to anyone nereby, this ult can be used 3 times before it's put on cooldown, This is great for catching up and running away to enemies.
When I play Ahri I generally do a glass cannon build, going deathfire grasp first, then go for Rabadons Deathcap for even more damage, then going for Rylai's, boots, Zhonya's, and maybe Liandry's Torment.
Ahri's lore says that Ahri, unlike other foxes in the woods of Ionia had a strange connection with the magic in the world around her, a magic that she felt was incomplete. She felt that the body she had (beign a fox) wasn't right for her, as if she felt she wanted another body, She wanted to be a human. She felt as though her goal will never be met, until she came across a human battleground. The land was covered with dead, or dying bodies all around. Ahri felt drawn to one human: A strange human circled with some sort of magical energy, while his life was quickly slipping away. Something inside Ahri triggered, she reached out to the man. The mans life essence poured into her with invisible strands of the same magical energy. When this sensation ended, she discovered that her wish has been fulfilled. But she knew the transaction was incomplete, because she had her 9 tails and her wiskers and ears.
She adapted to human life and used her gift of beauty to attract any man. She used this power to trick unsuspecting victims into her traps, once alone, she would steal their life essence to become a complete human, but as she continued doing this she started to feel regret. She realized that she had responsibilities that she would never have as just a fox, she felt she could not control what she was doing to these innocent people, so to stop herself, she found the institute of war, who offered her the chance to keep her humanity as long as she fights in League of Legends.
To elaborate, League of Legends when mentioned in lore works as an Arena where summoners (Users) summon champions into battle, these champions all signed up, so to speak, or were founded my the Institute of War to fight for them, Think of the Institute of War as Riot Games themselves.
