Akali: The Fist of Shadow

Today i'm talking about Akali, The Fist of Shadow. Ahri is a bursty AP assassin who goes mid, but seems to fall a bit short compared to other assassins, this DOES NOT mean she's underpowered, she just isnt picked as often as fizz, ahri, or zed. Akali brings a lot to the table with her kit, It works with team fights as well as cutting single members off. Akali will be one annoying champ to fight against in League, but maybe one of the most fun as well, Building mostly AP is so strong with your attacks, you'll be dealing tons of damage.

Akali's passive is called Twin Disciplines, and its one of the most op passives in the game, in my opinion. Akali has 6% magic damge with auto attacks, which  grows by 1% every AP. Then the second part is she has 6% spell vamp which grows by 1% every 6 AD.

Akali's Q is called Mark of the Assassin, Where Akali throws her kama (her weapon) at an enemy, which marks whoever it hits, dealing  bonus damage on the first auto attack, the bonus auto attack damage can also be activated with her ult. I use my q to start fights. I upgrade my q first.
Akali's W is called Twilight Shroud, Where she throws down a small cirlce cover in which she turns invisible when she enters or is in it. When an enemy runs through it, the shroud will slow them. Whenever akali auto attacks or uses a skill in the shroud, she is revealed. I upgrade my w 3rd.

Akali's E is called Cresent Slash, where Akali spins around flourishing her kamas and it scales off of AD as well as AP, I finish leveling this skill up second, after my Q.

Akali's ult is called Shadow Dance, where Akali jumps to an enemy target and deals tons of damage, when you ult something, it activates the passive of her q as well.

Akali's lore tells the story of Akali, and her comrades, Kennen, and Shen.
It talks about the order that exists to keep balance in the world, like chaos, order, light, dark, etc. They say all things must exist in perfect armony, becasue thats the way things need to be. This kinkou tribe, or order originated for isles off of Ionia. The Kinkou always have three "people of power" to represent, and protect their tribe form dangers. Akali is one of these warriors. Her job is to eliminate all thosewho will disturb the balence of the world.

Akali began training with her mother as soon as she could make a fist, her mother was harder than a boot camp trainer. Her mother's most important saying is "We do that which must be done." After all her training, Akali becasue one of the three warriors at the age of 14, at this point she was a prodigy of a martial artist, some say she could chop a chain with a chop of her hand. Once she joined, everyone knew she would succeed her mother as Fist of Shadow. Some of the things they made her do were very morally questionable, just to "keep the balance" Being a defender of peace, she(along with Shen and Kennen, joined League of Legends to keep balance with the world.

"The Fist of  Shadow strikes form the cover of death itself. Do not impede the balance."

Ahri: The Nine Tailed Fox

Today I want to talk about Ahri, The Nine Tailed Fox, Ahri is a very strong AP assassin who is great at jumping in and out as fast as you can blink. When I build ahri I go for a glass cannon build, which means nothing but pure AP giving me tons of damage with all of my attacks.

Ahri's basic kit revolves around charming people towards her and then unleashing all of her moves to ensure a kill, And if they happen to get away, you catch up to them and repeat the process. Then getting out of battles you can't win, which doesn't seem to happen. With Ahri's passive it helps you stay in battles longer, and helps you spam your skills with reward.

Ahri's Passive is called Essence Theft. When Ahri uses 9 spells, her next spell gives her 35% spell vamp, which gives you your health back based on how much damage you do.

Ahri's Q is called Orb of Deception. Ahri Throws out an orbwhich comes back to her after it goes to max range, dealing true damage on its way back.

Ahri's W is called Fox-Fire where she summons 3 flames that circle her and shoot at the closest enemy to it. These fires target champions before minions or neutral monsters.
'
Ahri's E is called Charm, where she shoots a heart-shaped spell that hits any champion, minion, or monster will slow thwm down and cause them to walk towards ahri, when the charm effect are active, ahri's other skills do more damage. I usually use this move to start my massive combo.
Ahri's Ult is called Sprit Rush,  Ahri dashes forward and shoots out 3 flames to anyone nereby, this ult can be used 3 times before it's put on cooldown, This is great for catching up and running away to enemies.

When I play Ahri I generally do a glass cannon build, going deathfire grasp first, then go for Rabadons Deathcap for even more damage, then going for Rylai's, boots, Zhonya's, and maybe Liandry's Torment.

Ahri's lore says that Ahri, unlike other foxes in the woods of Ionia had a strange connection with the magic in the world around her, a magic that she felt was incomplete. She felt that the body she had (beign a fox) wasn't right for her, as if she felt she wanted another body, She wanted to be a human. She felt as though her goal will never be met, until she came across a human battleground. The land was covered with dead, or dying bodies all around. Ahri felt drawn to one human: A strange human circled with some sort of magical energy, while his life was quickly slipping away. Something inside Ahri triggered, she reached out to the man. The mans life essence poured into her with invisible strands of the same magical energy. When this sensation ended, she discovered that her wish has been fulfilled. But she knew the transaction was incomplete, because she had her 9 tails and her wiskers and ears.

She adapted to human life and used her gift of beauty to attract any man. She used this power to trick unsuspecting victims into her traps, once alone, she would steal their life essence to become a complete human, but as she continued doing this she started to feel regret. She realized that she had responsibilities that she would never have as just a fox, she felt she could not control what she was doing to these innocent people, so to stop herself, she found the institute of war, who offered her the chance to keep her humanity as long as she fights in League of Legends.

To elaborate, League of Legends when mentioned in lore works as an Arena where summoners (Users) summon champions into battle, these champions all signed up, so to speak, or were founded my the Institute of War to fight for them, Think of the Institute of War as Riot Games themselves.

League of Legends: Jinx

Today, I want to talk about Jinx, the Loose Cannon. Jinx is the New ADC that comes out on the 10th but in my opinion looks like one of the strongest ADC's to come out, be planned for Jinx to be nerfed as quickly as possible, she's most likely going to be really op. Jink is a type of ADC that runs in guns blazing (literally) get as many kills as possible, then get out before she dies. With her skill list this seems she's deadly at any range. Also........ shes's crazy.
Jinx's passive is called Get Excited, and what it does, is give Jinx extra movement speed every time she gets a kill, or assist, this is also activated when you destroy a turret. This is good for catching up to targets to get more kills, or a nice way to get out of a battle once you get a kill.

Jinx's Q is called Switcheroo, which is and interesting toggle which switches her basic attack to be a Cannon named Fishbones, or a minigun named Pow- Pow. Fishbones deals some area damage per hit, which can also crit. The Minigun is the top most gun in the picture, while the Rocket Launcher is the bottom most gun.

Jinx's W is called Zap, where charges up an electric shot with long range, it also slows. Because it take a second or two to charge it up, it might be easily avoidable, this is a move that you can use on a running away target, or vice versa to slow them down to either get a kill, or get away.

Jinx's E is called Flame Chompers. Jinx throws out 3 grenades in a line blowing up on a timer, but if an enemy champion steps on one, they get snared and take damage. This is good skill to use to initiate, or to get away, but take note that the grenades take a second to set up, so set them up in front of your target, depending on their movements.

Jinx's Ultimate, or R is called Super Mega Death Rocket, which is a global ultimate that deals damage to the first enemy champion it hits, then does some damage in an area around its explosion. This ult is mostly used as an execution, to get away enemies that think they get away, or just to steal kills from your allies around the map.

I would build Jinx the same way I build every ADC, building Berserker Greaves, Infinity Edge, Bloodthirster, Phantom Dancer, Runnan's Hurricane, and maybe Last Whisper.

Jinx's lore tells the story of, well, Jinx. It says that Jinx loves nothing more than having fun, which to her is blowing things up, like the city-state of Piltover. Jinx could care less about consequences, and thinks the whole police force is a joke, she uses them as her play things to have that much more fun, and her favorite toy is Vi.
While Piltover was once the city of progress, Jinx is seriously messing that up, destroying buildings of all kind, some would say Jinx is anti-productive, while I like to thing of her as..... misunderstood. That doesn't mean shes innocent though, things that Jinx has done has put Piltover, and its residence into a state of decline, causing the worst crime spree in the city's history.
Most of Jinx's intentions are a mystery as well as her origins, people say her weapons seem like hextech weaponry, which is equal to a steampunk style of things, like champions themselves or items, or pretty much anything.
Caitlyn then noticed the danger of Jinx and what consequences it could have if she wasn't stopped, so she started a man-hunt, or rather a women-hunt for Jinx. Jinx saw this as an opportunity to piss her and Vi off even more. Jinx marked the Piltover treasury with a picture of Vi's face, with a place and time shes going to rob/destroy the most secure building in piltover. Vi accepted the challenge and met jinx at that time. When they both showed up they started fighting, while Vi was breaking walls down chasing Jinx, she was helping with a bit of explosions, when Vi finally cornered Jinx, Jinx shot some rockets into the building with them both inside, tearing it down.
When Vi got out of the rubble, She noticed that none of the money from the treasury they just destroyed was taken, then she looked up and saw a message, the lights of the city read out " You'll Never Catch Me!"

"Oh look- I'm opening my box of care! Oh wait- it's empty!"

League of Legends: Aatrox

9/10 times when I write this blog I want to or I would rather be talking about League of Legends, so most likely i will make this a League blog.
Today I want to talk about Aatrox, The Darkin Blade. Aatrox is an extremely powerful brawler that dominates top lane and is almost always played aggressive, with his skill list he can 1v1 a good amount of champions at level one, depends on which of his skills you pick up.

Aatrox is one of the champions that uses health to use skills instead of mana, his passive is, Every time Aatrox uses a skill, he stores the number of hit points he inflicted on himself into his "Blood Well" when you die he will extract how much damage you've done to yourself and come back to live with that much health, then recieves 1% attack speed for every 2% of blood that's in the well.

Aatrox's Q is called  Dark Flight, which is where Aatrox flys up in the air and slams down on a location around him dealing dame, anything in the middle of the damage radius makes knocked up as well as take the damage.

Aatrox's W is called Blood Price/Blood Thirst, It's a toggle ability changing between Aatrox doing damage to himself, but doing more damage, or Him just getting health back from every third attack.

Aatrox's E is called blades of torment which is where he shoots lazers in a cone shape and slowing all enimes they hit.

Finally, Aatrox's ult or R is called Massacre, which when activated, does damage around him, and gains tons of attack speed and attack range for 12 seconds, So best used in team fights or 1v1 situation.

What I build as Aatrox is more of a Brawler, leaning towards more attack damage and speed then health items, critical items to build on Aatrox are, Ninja Tabi (or Merc Treads) Ravenous Hydra, Blood Thirster, Phantom Dancer, Blade of The Ruined King, then Frozen Mallet, for a more tanky build, get the same boots, Warmogs, Ravenous Hydra, Frozen Mallet, Randuin's Omen, and Maw of Mal if you need the magic resist, if you're feeling a bit more like a dick, go for an early Gaurdian Angel.

Aatorx's Lore  tells the story about how Aatrox is one of the 5 creatures of the Darkin race alive today, and how the Darkin are extreme warriors. It metions a battle between 2 groups of people, the Protectorate, and the Magelords, the Protectorate were getting destroyed in wars with the Magelords, and in a single battle were outnumbered (and skilled) 5 to 1, Just as they were about to lose and all day the warrior Aatrox appeared telling them not to give up until they were all dead, and with his help were able to win the battle. The soldiers were in awe of how Aatrox cleaved through his opponents as if he and his Sword were one. After that one battle, Aatrox disappeared but having inspired and motivated the Protectorate troops that much, they kept fighting and eventually won the war. Others say they fought with the legendary warrior, and only seems to appear in times of extreme need or dark times, it also says that he has changed the course in many major battles in the world of Runeterra.

"Some fight for honor, some fight for glory. It matters only that you fight.''

Skullgirls

Hello and welcome back, today I'm taking a look at Skullgirls, one of my favorite fighting games of this generation. Skullgirls is a fighting game that begins and ends with the letter S which makes it the best thing ever.
Have you ever wanted to play an easily accessible fighting game that has an all female cast with interesting character designs? If so look into this game and you won't be disappointed. Skullgirls is about an ancient artifact called the Skull Heart, which grants a wish, but if the wish is selfish or impure, the Skull Heart turns you into the Skullgirl, which is and all powerful "unstoppable" being. The Skull Heart is currently in possession by a girl named Marie, whose wish was impure, so she's the skullgirl.
Each Character has their own story line which shows their struggle for the Skull heart, and what they do with it. The storyline mode is about 5 or 6 fights all together. Which seems kind of normal for a fighting game, which in my opinion is kind of bad in my opinion, because you can finish a storyline on like 30 minutes (depending on the difficulty)
This game is all drawn, which in my opinion is pretty amazing, and cool. It sounds like a lot of work and probably is but it all was worth it to make this beautiful art style.
So all together I think this game is amazing in my opinion and includes hours of fun. Depending on what type of gamer you are, hours from acheivements and skins and the online play. So all and all i give this game an 8/10 a pretty amazing game in my opinion.

Welcome Back With Bioshock Infinite

Hello Blog readers, its been a couple months since I've posted anything and That's going to start up again started today! This year I'll be posting once a week on pretty much the same thing and I have tons of games to talk about or reveiw.
"Booker are you afraid of god?" "No, but I'm afraid of you."So today I'm going to start with Bioshock Infinte a game i'm sure you've heard so much about, I know it came out quite a while ago and I've only just recently played but if you haven't played it and you like good games with confusing storylines, go pick this up, it's worth ever cent.

So what makes this game so good? Why does everything give it a 10/10? Why don't I? Well to start off Bioshock Infinite is a story that takes plce in 1912 about a man named Booker Dewitt who has some sort of debt to someone or some people and to pay that debt off you have to bring them a girl named Elizabeth, Simple Enough. Kind of like Bioshock 1 and 2 you start out at a Lighthouse and you're going to a city with an oddity, as Rapture was underwater, Columbia in Bioshock Infinte is flying, but this time, there's people and not just spookers. Once you reach this flying city you find out about the city's leader, a "prophet" seeing the future and saying the words of god. You soon find out that he's gone mad with power and the girl you came to find, he's imprisoned in a giant angel tower protected by a giant robot bird thing. Yes a giant Robot Bird Thing. About a half hourto an hour into the game you discover this city's dark side, everybody is terribly racist, like you can tell this takes place in 1912, most of the audio logs you will hear in the game will make you sick, while other things like statues and and paintings of John Wilkes Booth keep you uneasy, there's also paintings of Abraham Lincol with devil horns. While it made me feel terrible it was still a really nice part of the game, in a different perspective about time and all that, and that's a reoccurring thing of this game, time and perspective. This games replay value is through the roof if you ask me, once you beat the game and find out about what the hell is going on, you almost can't help but trying the game again on the hardest difficulty and hearing all you heard again and getting all the messages and the symbolism, its truly one of the best written games i've ever played, the voice acting is mostly flawless, the easter eggs are all fun to find, The difficulty is good at about hard and above, in my opinion easy and medium are too easy. This game gets the feeling of Bioshock so right even though the game is different in a lot of different ways, such as the crazy backtracking, and the audio logs, while its not as spooky as the others, Infinite has its moments. One of the problems I had with this game was, in the end Elizabeth turned out being the only really fleshed out character, which is disappointing, I liked Booker and his role in the story, but he gets washed away by Elizabeth. Speaking about Elizabeth, her AI is really something to take note on, shes always looking at something, or interracting with the environment in one way or another which was cool, she was always giving me ammo, health mana, and money whenever I needed it........ sometimes........ shes not good at prioritizing. With the New DLC coming out soon, i can't wait to pick this game up again (as if i wasn't going to) and get more out of this amazing story.
So all and all I really wish I could give this game a 10/10 but in all honesty, with its couple problems, I'm going to give it a 9/10 if not a 9.5/10. That doesn't mean anything, It's still the best game I've played in a very long time and in my opinion, not owning it is a crime. Not to mention the Soundtrack is amazing and uses carefully seleceted songs to fit the game.
Here's the trailer if you're interested, this game has had like a million trailers, but i choose this one because I like it the most. Bioshock Infinite Trailer
If i were you i would just watch them all because they are all amazing but this one is good too. Bioshock Infinite Trailer 2

Metal Gear Solid

Hello fellows, Today i'm going to review Metal Gear Solid which is easily one of my favorite series.
This game is great fun, and if you please this game can last you hours and hours if you spend all this time doing, and listening to everything being said. Otherwise you will have a lot of less time, if you skip all the cutscenes, know what you are doing, and don't listen to any extra Codec calls, so a speedrun will be don't in about 4 or 5 hours. For a speedrun, that's pretty good. This game has some problems that should be addressed, most of them were seen and  by the second game, was fixed. Problems like shooting in first person. a much needed feature. Also A weapon that doesn't kill people but renders them unconscious. Besides a few problems this game has a nice story and some fun sneaking mechanics.
Short one but I'm going to give this game a 8.5/10.

The Skyrims

Hello folks, today I plan on re-reviewing The game with the swords, Last time I reviewed This game I was a total fanboy and that doesn't bode well with reveiws so I decided to redo that review and be honest with myself.
So Right off the bat, like most Bethesda Games the main storyline.......... is uh really very bad. Good thing is most the other side quests are highly enjoyable and pretty well written. The environment looks beautiful from a distance and it's a very pretty world to explore and kill things in, but some things when you get up close to some of these trees of levers and the graphics look pretty bad for example, when you see a tree in the distance it looks nice and alive, but up close, the leaves and branches are like, pixels. This is to be expected from such a big game, but otherwise it's a gorgeous game. The game play itself is stupid fun, exactly what you would expect, fun, decently fluent, and bloody. It's so satisfying when you kill someone and their blood is still on your weapon, Magic gameplay is also fun but to some people kind of overwhelming with the different types of magic and all the different spells. One problem with it is the super special scene kills, they're all pretty buggy and seem to rarely work, some of them are cool either way though. The soundtrack is beautiful and does a good job at making you feel the mood of what you are doing, like killing a dragon, or exploring a cave, or even just taking a stroll. The ester eggs are great fun to find, sometimes you don't even know you're looking at one. Another bad thing is the voice acting, sadly in most Bethesda games the voice acting is pretty bad, unless it's a main character.
So all in all i want to give this game a 7.5/10 it's a good game but has its flaws.

Super hip video thing.

Fallout 3

"Hey, what's up Wastelanders? This is Three Dog *howl* and you're reading "The Rating of The Games". How's everybody doing?" Anyway, today I'm reviewing Fallout 3, one of my favorite RPGs and probably my favorite FPS RPG. One can say this isn't going to be a fair reviewing because I love the game so maybe I will give it a great score no matter what. Well I'm going to try to avoid that.
So Fallout is a apocalyptic game series where a company named Vault tec. realizes that the world is going to be destroyed my nukes, so right before everything goes to hell they make vaults to house people and protect them from certain annihilation and radiation from these fallen nukes. In this game, you grow up in a vault with your father alone, because your mother died giving birth to you. So you and Dad (voiced by Liam Neeson) seem to be living peachy keen and one day you wake up and your father is gone. You escape the vault to look for him and ask him why he left, and why he made him stay behind. That's all I'm going to say about the storyline. Now go buy this game and play it yourself!
So this game has a lot of good and fun going for it but its not flawless which makes sense because it's published by Bethesda, and we all know how buggy those games are. This game has great side quests and some really dark elements that I love, elements such as in the DLC The Pitt you are working with slaves to free them and stop the people controlling them. The way to do this with good karma you have to kidnap a baby, yeah, a baby, to be good, the guy you give the baby to says "to get anything done these days you have to get your hands dirty. The baby lives and is fine in the end, but its still pretty disturbing. The side quests usually have a better storyline then the main questline, which is pretty disappointing but seems to happen in ever Bethesda game for one reason or another. Another thing this game has just like every other Bethesda game is many open world glitches, such as sometimes you will see flying bodies with their limbs going everywhere, and occasionally for me it freezes on loading or saving times, which means you might have to redo things a bit. The voice acting could use some work, besides main characters every important character has a nice voice, but normal people you will hear alot of the same voice, I'm not expecting everyone to have a different voice, but at least one voice for like, two people, the same thing happens in Skyrim sadly. Fallout has ok AI sometimes weird things will happen, like one time I was taking someone somewhere and lost them, because they ran away in fear for no reason. One thing that I really like about this game is it's gameplay, I like how Bethesda put V.A.T.S. in from the old games, also I love looting dumb stuff that won't do anything for me, but it's nice how many things i can interact with and grab for no reason. Also the weapons and armor are amazing and creative, When you do the Operation: Anchorage DLC you get Chinese Stealth Armor which gives you 15 more in the sneak skill, and invisible when you crouch. So it's soooooooooooo awesome.
Anyway all in all I would give this game a 8/10 awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww yeahhhhhhhhhhh

Saint's Row the Thrid

LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS. Lately I have been replaying Saint's Row the Third. While I still love this game and think it's load of fun, Anyone who can see flaws in a video game can this this game has more than one.

Good things: This game is loads of fun and is always nice to put a couple hours into if you are bored, The comedy is fantastic and most of the lines will make you laugh, even in this games "serious" circumstances. The voice actors seem pretty good with actors such as Burt Reynolds, Daniel Dae Kim, Hulk Hogan, and Sasha grey, I recommend not looking up Sasha Grey if you don't know who she is, because shes a porn star. These are all things beside gameplay I'm going over by the way.

Bad things: Well I'm going to be very frank, this game is loads of fun, but it has a very ugly side. I have finished the game 96% the entire game in about 10-12 hours which is sad, that includes all the DLC, so that's buying everyplace, beating all the missions and unlocking and buying everything. So in short it's a very short game which is disappointing if you pay full price on the game. Next thing is that they take the great insanity that Saint's Row has and threw it way to overboard, games need to have a certain balance with these things because if not the game is too wacky to have any real features, which a game doesn't need but is nice. Another is the rival gangs, While in Saint's Row 2(which I think is superior) every gang hated each other, while in this game its like one gang in control of the city but they each have different sections, but they work together nonetheless.

For the gameplay factor alone this game is a load of fun and it's hilarious when you think of how zany and weird this game is, Let me tell you about the Genki Manipult for example, where you run people over and then they become ammo for your car where you shoot there bodys at anything you desire, even zombies. This game took out some great gameplay from SR2 but it also did add Professor Genki's Super Epic Reality Climax, in which you go through some terrible maze thing that is armed to the teeth with traps, and mascots, don't forget the mascots. So all and all this game is great fun, zany to the brainy, it has its problems sure, but tell me another game where you attack people with a giant dildo.............. I'm waiting.

All in all I would like to give this game higher, but i'm going to give it a 7/10 due to the bad things sometimes outweighing the good.

There are other things to talk about but I think I've said so see ya later alligators and tune in next week for my next exciting blog!

Ok like usual this video has it's language and its gunny shooty parts so don't watch if you don't want to see that or if you don't like Power by Kanye West. Saint's Row The Third Trailer
